Empowering India Through Government Partnerships

PM Vishwakarma Scheme IS Groundbreaking initiative by Government of India to empower traditional artisans. This initiative provides financial aid, skill training, and market access, boosting productivity and economic status while preserving India's rich cultural heritage. Smartskills have 50+ PM Vishwakarma Centres across India.

The Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), a flagship initiative by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), empowers Indian youth. It provides industry-relevant skill training to boost employability and secure better livelihoods, with programs typically lasting 200-600 hours (2-6 months), depending on the job role. We have succesfully conducted PMKVY programs in several of our Training centres.

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) is a flagship program by the Ministry of Rural Development. It focuses on skilling rural poor youth aged 15-35, providing free, market-driven training in various sectors. The program guarantees placement for at least 75% of trained candidates, offering post-placement support and career progression opportunities. It aims to diversify rural incomes and fulfill career aspirations.

Smartskills has very effectively implemented various state government skilling programs. This includes key initiatives like BSDM (Bihar Skill Development Mission), UPSDM (Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission), JSDM (Jharkhand Skill Development Mission), and PMKUVA. Our proven approach ensures successful skill development and enhanced employability across these diverse state schemes.

In a significant collaboration with Maharashtra State Skills University (MSSU), we established the Swachch Bharat Academy in Sambhajinagar. This center develops a skilled workforce for sanitation, waste management, and hygiene. Through specialized training and certification, we have actively contributed to the national Swachch Bharat Mission by creating professionals dedicated to a cleaner, healthier India.

MAHA BOCW (Maharashtra Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board) ensures construction workers' welfare, social security, and skill development. Established under the 1996 Act, it provides industry-relevant training to boost employability and productivity. The Board also facilitates vital occupational safety and health (OSH) training, covering safe practices and accident prevention.

The MSME RAMP( Raising and accelerating MSME performance ) scheme, supported by the World Bank, aims to revitalize India's MSME sector. Its objectives include improving MSMEs' access to markets, finance, and technology; strengthening related institutions ; promoting women-owned enterprises; and bolstering capacity building, skills, and digitization. We have conducted 70+ Batches for Women entrepreneur's empowerment across Maharashtra.

The MSME ZED Certification Scheme by MoMSME promotes "Zero Defect, Zero Effect" manufacturing. It has three levels: Bronze for basic practices, Silver for established systems, and Gold for comprehensive excellence in quality and sustainability. ZED-certified companies receive various government benefits, enhancing their global competitiveness. We've completed over 1,000 ZED certifications Across India.

Beyond our core initiatives, SmartSkills Network actively collaborates with NSDC, State Governments, and various government departments to execute a diverse range of skill development projects. These partnerships allow us to address a wider spectrum of community needs, including impactful projects such as NULM (National Urban Livelihoods Mission), Social Department initiatives, and Health Camps. This demonstrates our commitment to contributing to national skill-building efforts through a variety of vital programs.
